Last Day In Ottawa - Day 12
Bums only got a bit damp sitting on our DIY sand seats

Today we ate our last free breakfast and checked out of our hotel room. We asked the hotel to keep some of our bags and we headed back to Mooney's Bay Beach.

People were setting up some equipment for a volleyball tournament and festival tomorrow so we're glad we just missed it. We spent almost 4 hours at the beach building pools, watching little fish swim by, burying our limbs, and making creations out of our wet sand from our 'farm'.

After the beach, we went to have food at a Korean restaurant called 'K Let's Eat!'. It specializes in Korean Fried Kitchen so we made sure to have sweet chili chicken and some dumplings. The chicken also comes with deep fried tteokbokki which definitely was satisfactory.

We got two flavours - sweet chili and classic

To spend time we were going to go to an agricultural museum but everyone did not have energy to go do that. Instead, we had bubble tea!

The deal of the day was a cheap(er) bubble waffle if you buy a drink

Afterwards, we picked up our bags from the hotel and then went back to Bryan and Fiona's place to return the umbrellas. We chatted and played with Oats a bit until it was time to pick up some takeout for dinner on the plane.

Dinner was kimbap, a rice bowl, and a bento box from a Korean takeout place not too far away. This ended up being pretty tasty!

We also stopped briefly at a plane viewing area by the airport before actually going to the airport itself. Marcus got to see a few planes take off up close so he was happy.

The Ottawa airport is pretty small and not busy so getting in and through security was a breeze. See you all in Calgary when we're back!
