We made it to Vancouver - Day 1
The day started off by waking up at 5 am to get to the airport. Security wasn't too busy and we made it to our gate quickly.
We bought some food for the flight.
Then we boarded. They were defrosting the plane, (keep in mind almost an hour had gone by the time we boarded) when they said that the defrosters had noticed something strange on the wing.
We were annoyed at this delay as we slowly taxied back to the gate for maintenance. After a long inspection, we finally started to move again.
However, they had to defrost the plane again.
We were in the air shortly after (finally 😮💨, 2 hours later than planned).
The flight went by fast probably because we were reminiscing memories with Tofu as we already miss him.

When we landed, everyone was hungry, and so we went to a soup dumpling place. It was so good. As they always say "hunger is the best spice".

We then ate at this famous Korean salted bread place. The basically put lots of butter on the bread and bake it, creating a crunchy layer and a salted taste. They also put filling inside of the bun. We had matcha and Earl Grey flavour.

After, as we had time to kill, we had thought about going to an Olympic museum, but nobody really cared to go. Instead we went to Superstore to get a few necessities like distilled water, tissues, and snacks.
Then we checked into the airbnb. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sunroom, meaning it was pretty big. However there was a wasp inhabiting the sunroom and certain people got scared.
We then had a ramen dinner. We quickly ordered so we could catch the lunch special (that included gyoza and was cheaper) which ended at 5:00 pm.
