Another peaceful day - Day 5
Today we hung out a bit at the airbnb to start the day off, and then we walked a few minutes to 'AT' cafe near our house.
We were originally going to a crepe place, however it was closed randomly, which was a bit disappointing, but it was worth it.
We had eggs Benedict, omelette, grilled cheese, and a beef rice bowl. It was a great way to fill our stomachs.

After that, we booked an escape room to do at as place called Find and Seek Escape Rooms in China Town. Though a bit pricey (actually it is around the same price as most escape rooms these days), we found it to be pretty high quality, and had extravagant rooms. We also liked how the puzzles flowed and were set up. We did one called "The Curse of Madame Zita's Curiosities".

We escaped with 10 minutes to spare, by the way! (The fastest was 32 minutes! They must be hard core 😯.)
All that brain power used caused us to get hungry, so we went to Nana's Green Tea for some matcha ice cream parfait! We had the same place in Japan and it was so good!

We had a dinner reservation later in the day at 6:45, so we went to a cherry blossom festival for a little bit to spend some time before dinner.

After the festival we still had a bit more time so we went to the beach at Kitsilano to hang out.
It was really cold but the kids still made fun out of it! We made water hole and made a barricade to block the tide. However, some people needed to abort because it was so cold out.

We still had an hour until the reservation, so we drove a scenic way there and asked if we could be seated early, and we could!
This place is called Raisu and it is a sushi/Japanese food restaurant. It is as bit more on the expensive side, but the fish was so fresh and the food was so good.

After we got bubble tea to finish off the day.
